Study Tasmania Employability Workshops
You can access several tailored work-readiness activities on the Study Tasmania Events and Resources pages throughout the year. These activities will give you the opportunity to develop employability skills to help you undertake professional experience related to your field of study. It will also encourage you to improve your networking skills in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
All sessions are interactive, and we encourage you to participate and network with each other. All workshops are free for international students studying in a Tasmanian institute.

Industry Insights & Migrant Talent Information Hub
Launched in 2021, the hub will help you understand Tasmanian industries and develop job skills to help you establish your career in Tasmania. The Hub will give you great insights into discovering your transferable skills, resume, cover letter and selection criteria writing, and interview preparation. They also offer advice on developing a career plan.

I-PREP Work Ready Program
To maximise your employability, Study Tasmania has partnered with the University of Tasmania to expand its highly regarded I-PREP program.
I-PREP is a Work Ready Program designed specifically for International students from UTAS. The program focusses on expanding your understanding of the Australian workplace culture, the job application process and the interview process. I-PREP includes online learning modules, industry site visits, networking events, simulated interviews and internship opportunities within UTAS, Local and State Government, business, industry and community organisations within Tasmania.
Many international graduates who successfully completed this program during their study at UTAS are currently working in their professional field.
