Sidharth Suresh (Sid)
I'm Sidharth Suresh, originally from India. I'm currently pursuing my MBA International at the University of Tasmania. Since arriving, I've been captivated by the island's charm – it truly feels like a 'cozy' haven. Tasmania offers a unique blend of breathtaking natural beauty and a vibrant city life. From stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife to a bustling social scene, it has something for everyone.
As an international student, I've found Tasmania to be incredibly welcoming. It's a melting pot of cultures, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. The friendly locals and relaxed atmosphere create the perfect environment for both study and exploration. And speaking of exploring, I'm someone who loves to embrace new experiences both on and off campus. I'm really into pop culture – movies, manga, games, you name it! I also enjoy a variety of sports, from soccer and basketball to table tennis, and I'm always up for a social game night with friends, whether it's cards or something like charades.
My advice to fellow students is to embrace every experience Tasmania has to offer. Immerse yourself in the vibrant student life, join university clubs and societies, and explore the island's natural wonders. Whether you're passionate about hiking, wildlife, or simply soaking up the local culture, Tasmania has something to inspire you.
In short, Tasmania is an exceptional destination for students seeking a well-rounded educational experience in a truly unique and welcoming environment.

Ying Ching Man (Beverly)
Hello, my name is Beverly, and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Geography. Before coming here, I didn’t know much about Tasmania, but my agent's recommendations led me to this remarkable place. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its pristine natural environment.
Originally from Hong Kong, my journey began in July 2022 when I moved to Hobart. Since then, Tasmania has truly become my second home. Its tranquil beauty and serene atmosphere have provided me with a deep sense of belonging. I have always been passionate about nature, and living here has only strengthened that connection. I adore animals and find joy in bushwalking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. One of my favourite places is the Tasman Peninsula. I am constantly awestruck by its stunning coastal landscapes, especially the iconic Tasman Arch and Cape Raoul. The way Tasmania combines dramatic coastlines with untamed wilderness is unique, and it offers an immersive experience like no other. Being surrounded by such beauty has fostered a profound respect for the environment, inspiring me to reflect on what I can contribute to its preservation. Every hike, every view, and every moment spent in nature fuels my curiosity and reminds me of the interconnectedness of all life. This extraordinary connection with Tasmania's natural environment is a gift I cherish deeply—something that is truly rare to find elsewhere.
