My name is Reshane Dias, and I was born and raised in Sri Lanka, a beautiful island famously known as the "Pearl of the Indian Ocean." At the age of 18, I was fortunate enough to be able to come to Australia's hidden wonderland to pursue my higher education. After three adventurous years in Tasmania, I am now in my final year of study towards a Bachelors in Business majoring in Finance and Accounting.

Tasmania is home to an unspoilt landscape and picturesque charm that will have you head over heels in love. Do you not believe me? jump on the next flight to Tasmania, and I guarantee that the endless number of attractions, incredible beaches, and breath-taking views from the epic mountains will leave you speechless. Throughout my time at the University of Tasmania, I've discovered that the opportunities are limitless if you're willing to explore them. From playing rugby at the intercollege rugby tournament to interning at one of the big four accounting firms in the world, I will be eternally grateful for the opportunities Tassie presented me to learn, grow, and become a better person.

It doesn't matter where you're going; it’s the people around you. So, if you happen to run into me and my friends, please don't ask us where we're going because there's a good chance we are exploring Tassie without a set destination.

Fun fact: I have the most amazing/annoying twin sister I could ever ask for, who has and always will support me in everything I do and motivate me to achieve greater heights. Since moving to Tasmania, my family has grown to include lifelong friends who have shaped me into the person I am today. In a usual day, you'll either find me battling my sister over chocolates or living life to the fullest with my friends.
