When looking for accommodation in Tasmania, we suggest that you look into your options well before arriving in to the state or country. Many education providers offer accommodation options for students.  There are also options for private rental houses and share houses.

Accommodation will likely be one of your biggest expenses, so keep that in mind when budgeting for your studies.

With short commute times between home and campus and having safe cities, you will find Tasmania a great place to live during your studies.

Below are a few accommodation options while you study.

University of Tasmania student accommodation

You can be part of a vibrant student community and enjoy the convenience of student accommodation while studying at the University of Tasmania.

With many different types of on-campus and off-campus accommodation available throughout Tasmania, you can choose to live where and how you want while you study.

TasTAFE also has a limited number of residential arrangements for international students. You can stay at any TasTAFE accommodation for roughly $160 a week.
