My warmest greetings to everyone! I am Ipshita Pratap and I hail from the land of mystery, contrasts and diversity- India. I am a Bachelor of Science student, majoring in Molecular Bioscience and Chemistry at the University of Tasmania.
When not studying or doing research, I love to listen to music, write poetries in Hindi and Urdu, and dance (specifically Kathak- an Indian classical dance style and K-pop). I am a huge fan of BTS! I am passionate about healthcare and overall well-being of my fellow inhabitants of this planet. I run a peer-to-peer support community called Trivial Things to destigmatise Mental Health among the local community of Assam, India.
I fell head over heels in love with the breathtaking scenery and natural beauty of Tasmania. I truly admire the community spirit and the Tasmanian cultural heritage. Tasmania and its people have been really kind and welcoming. As an International Student Ambassador, I earnestly hope to make a difference and contribute something to the community.
